CZC19 series switching capacitor contactors (hereinafter referred to as contactors) are mainly used in power lines with AC 50Hz or 60Hz and rated operating voltage up to 380V, as input and removal of self-healing low voltage shunt capacitors with controllable capacitors up to 30Kvar in power factor compensation devices. The contactor is equipped with an inrush current suppression device, which effectively reduces the impact of the closing inrush current on the capacitor and suppresses the overvoltage during opening and closing.

Product standards comply with: GB/T 14048.4, IEC 60947-4-1.

>Normal operating conditions and installation conditions

● The ambient air temperature is: the upper limit of the ambient air temperature is +40°C and its average value does not exceed +35°C over a 24-hour period; the lower limit is not less than -5°C.

● Altitude: The installation site should not exceed 2000m above sea level.

● Atmospheric conditions: relative humidity of the air does not exceed 50% at a maximum temperature of +40°C; at lower temperatures higher relative humidity may be permitted, e.g. up to 90% at 20°C. Special measures should be taken for occasional condensation due to temperature changes.

● Pollution level: 3./span>

● Installation conditions: inclination of the mounting surface to the vertical surface not greater than ±5°.

● Shock and vibration: The product should be installed and used in a location free from significant shaking, shock and vibration.

>Structural features

The contactor is a direct-acting double-break structure, the contact system is divided into two layers, the upper layer has pre-charged contacts with three pairs of current limiting resistors, which constitute the limited device, and the lower layer is the working contacts. When closed, the current limiting device is first switched on, after a few milliseconds the working contacts are switched on and the permanent magnets in the pre-charged contacts are released under the counteraction of the springs, disconnecting the current limiting resistors and allowing the capacitor to work normally, the internal connections of the contactor are shown in the diagram;

CZC19-25~43 has two pairs of auxiliary contacts and CZC19-63~95 has three pairs of auxiliary contacts.

The contactor terminals are covered with an insulating cover for safety and reliability. The coil terminals are marked with voltage to prevent wrong connection. In addition to screw mounting, the contactors can be mounted with TH type standard card gauge, CZC19-25~43 with 35mm card rail, CZC19-63~95 with 35mm or 75mm card rail.
